Creative Director

Job Summary:

We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Creative Director to define and drive the brand's visual identity and storytelling across all touchpoints. This role will be pivotal in shaping how our products, values, and culture are expressed to the world, ensuring creative consistency while pushing boundaries to inspire our growing global community.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an executional powerhouse, capable of translating brand vision into compelling creative campaigns and experiences. You will lead a talented creative team and work closely with leadership to bring our message to life across digital, physical, and experiential channels. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, especially within the fitness and lifestyle space, and a passion for crafting visually stunning and emotionally resonant content. Your leadership will guide the creative direction of product launches, advertising, content, and brand storytelling that authentically connect with our core audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate Brand Vision into Execution

Take high-level brand direction and turn it into

clear creative output

Ensure all assets align with tone, identity, and standards

Maintain consistency across:

Paid ads

PDPs (Amazon + Shopify)

Email/SMS

Social content

Product launches

Lead Creative Production Across Channels

Oversee development of all creative assets from concept → execution

Direct photoshoots, video production, and design output

Ensure creative is optimized for each channel while staying cohesive

Drive Campaign Execution

Bring campaign ideas to life across all formats and channels

Ensure campaigns feel

integrated, not fragmented

Adapt campaign concepts into:

Ads

PDPs

Email

Social

Improve Creative Performance

Partner with Ecommerce and Growth teams to improve:

CTR (ad creative)

CVR (PDP experience)

AOV (visual merchandising, bundling)

Iterate on creative based on performance data

Lead & Elevate the Creative Team

Manage designers, photographers, videographers, and editors

Provide clear direction, feedback, and quality control

Raise the bar on concept strength and execution

Build Creative Systems & Workflow

Implement structured:

Creative briefs

Review processes

Approval workflows

Improve speed, clarity, and output quality

Maintain a High Creative Standard

Own the quality of everything that goes out

Push for stronger ideas, not just more content

Kill weak creative early and elevate strong concepts

Qualifications:

6–12+ years of experience in creative roles (design, art direction, content, or brand)

2–5+ years leading and managing creative teams

Proven track record executing high-quality, on-brand creative at scale

Strong portfolio demonstrating:

Campaign-level thinking (not just individual assets)

Work across multiple channels (ads, ecommerce, social, email)

Experience working in ecommerce or consumer brands (DTC required, Amazon a strong plus)

Deep understanding of:

Paid media creative (hooks, angles, iteration)

PDP design and conversion principles

Visual storytelling across formats

Ability to take high-level direction and translate it into clear, executable creative

Experience running or contributing to:

Photoshoots

Video production

Product launches

Strong project management and organizational skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
