Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join SACC‑NE as a Marketing and Event Intern. In this role you will work independently under supervision to manage multiple projects. Your main responsibilities include maintaining the website, managing social media, creating newsletters, graphic design, producing marketing collateral, invitations, press releases and other outreach materials. You will also support the chamber by promoting its mission, organizing events and handling routine administrative tasks. A strong background in event planning, marketing and project management, along with a passion for communication, is essential.

Requirements
Currently enrolled in a university program or recently graduated in a relevant field.
Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes).
Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Knowledge of graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop, or similar) is a plus.
Preferably, previous experience organizing events.
Software skills including MS Office, Photoshop, and social media.
Benefits
This is a five‑month internship starting in August 2026. The internship is unpaid, but SACC‑USA may assist with scholarship applications, CSN student aid, and the visa application process. Interns may apply for a J‑1 visa, which requires Swedish citizenship. The position offers real‑world experience, a professional international network, and the chance to develop cross‑cultural communication skills.
