Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager – Insurance Advisors of St. Louis Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Location: St. Louis, MO (South City) Compensation Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually + commission About Us: Insurance Advisors of St. Louis is a small, locally-owned agency dedicated to serving the St. Louis community. The ideal person for the account manager role is someone who views client service as equally important as sales. We set ourselves apart from other agencies by placing service, retention, and finding value for existing clients at the forefront. To reinforce those values, account managers are eligible not only for standard sales commissions, but also for incentive pay when rewriting current business. The role is approximately 75% account management for personal lines relationships and 25% sales, with internal leads being provided from our real estate and mortgage companies. Essential Duties: 75% account management for personal lines, 25% sales Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships Write new business, service existing policies, and remarket/process renewals Attend team meetings, client meetings, and occasional meetings with carriers Maintain insurance license, industry, carrier, & product knowledge Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant records in agency management and carrier systems Qualifications: Valid Missouri insurance license 5+ years of relevant work experience Availability to work in the office five days per week during business hours Ability to utilize the phone, computer, software, and online systems necessary to perform essential duties Physical demands include prolonged sitting, prolonged screen time, movement throughout the building, verbal and written communication Cognitive demands include sustained concentration, multitasking Benefits: Competitive base salary Eligible for commissions and other incentive pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer contribution toward medical insurance premiums 401(k) with employer matching contributions Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays
