The Marketing & Communications Associate is responsible for assisting with development of RFQs, proposals, planning and implementing communication strategies; overseeing the company's social media promotion; and creating communication materials. Essential Duties and Functions Respond to requests for information from the media or designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source Ensure branding standards are in place and being followed Plan or direct development or communication of programs to maintain favourable public or stockholder perceptions of an organization's accomplishments, agenda, or environmental responsibility Development and delivery of Statements of Qualifications (proposals) for new business, project sheets and presentation materials Post and update content on the company's Web site and social media Work with Human Resources to create promotional materials for career fairs and new employees Write press releases or other media communications to promote clients Prepare or edit organizational publications Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for clients to increase product or service awareness or to promote goodwill Participate in career development training as assigned by Human Resources Manager Required Skills and Knowledge 3+ years’ experience in a marketing and communications role Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesExceptional attention to detail Proven leadership skills Ability to work well on a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) #J-18808-Ljbffr
