Program Director Employment Services

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director Employment Services to lead and oversee our ACCES-VR and OPWDD programs. This role is responsible for program operations, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery for individuals with barriers to employment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about workforce development, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to empowering individuals to achieve employment success. Sign on bonus may apply Key Responsibilities Maintain a manageable caseload to support program needs and model best practices in service delivery Ensure full compliance with ACCES-VR, OPWDD, and all applicable regulatory and agency requirements Oversee program operations including documentation, reporting, referrals, and service flow Monitor budgets, billing procedures, and Medicaid/contract compliance requirements Supervise, coach, and support program staff, including performance management Facilitate regular team meetings and promote ongoing staff development Build and maintain strong relationships with ACCES-VR teams, OPWDD providers, and community partners Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for staff and participants Ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and high-quality customer service Support agency initiatives and perform additional duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Minimum of 3 years experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience Valid, clean New York State Driver's License Reliable personal transportation Core Competencies Leadership and Staff Development Program Management and Regulatory Compliance Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Accurate Documentation and Record-Keeping Cultural Competency and Inclusion Time Management and Organizational Skills Benefits 13 paid days off in your first year (increasing annually) 56 hours of NYS Sick Leave 12 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidaysMajor medical leave Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 403(b) retirement plan with company contributions after one year.
