
Member Service Advisor
The Racquet Lounge, Southampton, NY, United States
Reports to: General Manager
Rate: Full time, hourly
Seasonal Role: Ends September 6th 2026
We are seeking a full time outgoing, customer-focused Member Service Advisor to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our Club. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver, has excellent organizational and communication abilities, is warm, hospitable, and plus if you’re a tennis enthusiast.
Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service
Manage court reservations, scheduling, and member inquiries
Process payments, memberships, and other transactions
Ensure courts are properly maintained and prepared for play
Maintain demo racquets
Monitor facility cleanliness, including light cleaning of front desk, lounge, and courts
Enforce club policies and ensure a positive environment for all members
Handle minor maintenance tasks or report larger issues to management
Track inventory of supplies and notify management when orders are needed
Open or close the facility, ensuring all security protocols are followed
Qualifications: Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Comfortable with basic technology (booking software, phone, email) Prior experience in a club, gym, or hospitality setting is preferred Knowledge of tennis is a plus Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Must be able to stand or sit for long extended periods of time. Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing). Must have full schedule availability.
