Goals & Missions
The Sales Enablement Lead will build and scale Alan sales enablement function into a world-class function. You'll define the vision, lead a growing team across 4+ countries, and contribute to upskilling and transforming our > 200-person sales organization into a highly effective team of trusted advisors and contribute to their growth path. You will work across our entire sales organization (Account Executives, BDR, Inbound Sales, Account Management, Crew Leads) and engage with senior sales leadership to align on priorities, coordinate the team's roadmap, and ensure we deliver training initiatives that drive performance. You'll spend roughly 40% of your time on strategic, organizational and coordination topics, and 60% personally designing and delivering high-impact programs. Your day to day missions include: Strategic Leadership Defining and driving the long-term vision for Sales Enablement at Alan
Coordinating the team roadmap and ensuring stellar delivery
Engaging with sales leadership to align enablement initiatives with business priorities
Analyze sales performance and identify where Sales Enablement can drive the most impact
Leading experimentation with AI - whether that's AI-powered role-play simulations, personalized learning paths, or automated content generation
Hands-on Execution Spending significant time on the field to identify gaps in sales skills and performance
Designing and delivering impactful training programs across: sales skills, insurance expertise, legal environment, product mastery, etc.
Building training assets by coordinating with internal experts and leadership
Training sales teams from onboarding and throughout their career at Alan
Ensuring proper change management as our organization scales (new countries, new products, 225+ salespeople by year-end)
What Does Success Look Like In Year 1?
You will have: Built the organizational foundation for scale
- Designed the team structure, processes, and ways of working that enable us as a larger, more global organization across 4+ countries
Established a data-driven enablement function
- Defined and implemented clear KPIs that measure training effectiveness, sales performance, and enablement ROI - moving us from intuition to evidence
Identified and closed critical gaps
- Conducted a comprehensive audit of our current sales enablement operating model, identified the top 3-5 most powerful performance lever, and achieved measurable improvement
You May Be A Great Fit If You Have
A minimum of 7 years of experience
in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development or a Sales Leadership function
Fluency in
English
is required
Proven track record of
leading and scaling enablement functions
or training programs in high-growth environments
Experience in
Sales and/or Learning & Development
is a must
Exceptional stakeholder management
- You know how to engage, influence, and align senior leaders across multiple countries
Strategic vision + operational excellence
- You can set ambitious goals and personally roll up your sleeves to deliver on them
Strong analytical mindset
- You read sales performance data and connect the dots to where enablement drives value
