How would you contribute?

This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Customer Account Specialist, you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for providing customer support to both internal and external customers, including, but not limited to the delivery, return and exchange of products, the processing of sales orders, logistics, and transportation support. The Customer Account Specialist manages customer orders from initial order through delivery of product. This role is also responsible for invoicing, quality support and returns, and credits or exchanges of product.

Essential Duties: Serve as the first point of contact for customer support. Apply processes related to assigned customers' orders/changes, price quotes, delivery time, invoicing, complaints and adjustments, etc. Process necessary paperwork to verify customer credit and communicate as necessary with accounting teams. Validate pricing/discounts are applied appropriately and as assigned. Communicate with internal and external customers regarding any changes in orders, status, colors, shipping dates, etc. Apply manufacturing practices to ensure inventory amounts are sufficient. Work closely with all members of the team, both internal and external, to ensure timely and efficient communication. Display professionalism and participate to the ongoing efforts of the team. In daily responsibilities, utilize superior oral / written communication. Ensure deadlines are met in support of customer and business needs. Apply customer focus to daily operations. Utilize company software of record, enter and ensure data integrity with all transactions. Maintain safety standards. Maintain company attendance standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Abilities Required:

Capability to utilize problem solving skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals. Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels. Must possess the ability to use sound judgement with strong de-escalation skills. Self-motivated and positive. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Display highest ethical standards. Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information. Proficientin Microsoft Office suite of products Uphold and support organizational goals and values. Take initiative and asks for help when needed. Three to five years of customer support/logistics experience required. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Associate's degree preferred or an equivalent amount of education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years of customer support/logistics experience required; manufacturing experience is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have personnel supervisory responsibilities; however, this role includes working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization. Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor the noise level may be loud.
