Join our team as a Sales Porter at Alliance Dealer Solutions! Alliance Dealer Solutions is hiring Sales Porters for our automotive dealership partners! If you like working with people and getting exercise, this is the perfect team for you! As a Sales Porter, you play a vital role in the sales department, ensuring that vehicles are presented in pristine condition and the dealership operates smoothly. You will assist in moving vehicles, maintaining the showroom and lot, and providing exceptional customer service. Demonstrating friendliness, attention to detail, and safe driving techniques are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
Ensure all vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are clean, presentable, and in excellent condition. Plate frame and inserts added. Window stickers attached to vehicles. Key control is paramount. Safely move vehicles to their designated locations, including the lot, showroom, service area, or customer pick-up zone. Record the location of each vehicle and ensure keys are stored properly (never in your pockets). Greet and assist customers upon arrival, directing them to the appropriate salesperson or department. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including picking up trash and debris. Prepare vehicles for test drives and customer deliveries, ensuring they are clean and fueled. Clean showroom vehicles twice daily, plate frame and inserts added. Window stickers attached to vehicles. Perform visual inspections of vehicles for any damage and report any issues to the sales manager. Assist with the preparation and organization of vehicle documentation, including sales contracts and registration paperwork. Perform other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership. Ways to Shine
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and answering basic inquiries. Ensure vehicles are spotless and ready for display or delivery, paying attention to even the smallest details. Move quickly and efficiently when not operating behind the wheel, and practice safe driving at all times. The ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Neat and professional appearance is required. Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. 18 years or older. Experience in a similar role can be advantageous but is not required. Physical Requirements
