We're looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver's primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role requires navigating a range of conditions, including uneven terrain, and may involve handling and attaching extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds. As a Ready-Mix Driver at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include: safety and compliance, delivery and timing, discharge management, extension chute handling, truck maintenance, customer service, and team coordination. To succeed in this role, you should bring a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B), a high school diploma preferred, and qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. You should also have proficient English skills, an acceptable CSA and MVR record, strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors.
