WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, NH, has an opening for a paid summer internship in the Sales Department.
The internship will provide hands-on professional learning experience, with an emphasis on Broadcast Television and Digital Sales. The WMUR internship is administered through in-person training and shadowing of Sales Managers, Account Executives and Support Specialists. Students must have junior or senior level status to apply. The internship runs June 1

, 16 hours per week.
Interns are introduced to all areas of the sales department, including but not limited to: Developing sales and marketing material Gather research for sales development Attend sales meetings and client calls Generate client facing reporting Shadow commercial production crew in the field Monitor market and industry data Participate in client facing events Researching target accounts
Completion of Internship: After completing the internship, you should understand the role of the sales department in the broadcast television and digital industry. Interns will understand the advertising solutions available to local clients.
