Crate Builder - Carpentry experience required (01803)

Adecco Staffing is hiring for Crate Builders in Peabody, MA on 1st and 2nd shift! These are temp to hire positions.

1st shift schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am-330pm 2nd shift schedule: Monday thru Thursday 230pm-1am

1st shift pay rate: $24-25 per hour 2nd shift pay rate: $25-27 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication: Cut and assemble lumber, plywood, and hardware into crates, boxes, and crates based on specifications.

Tool Operation: Proficiently use table saws, circular saws, pneumatic nail guns, staple guns, and hand tools.

Packaging/Blocking: Secure items inside crates using braces, saddles, and blocking to prevent movement.

Measurement: Perform precise, accurate measurements using tape measures and calculate material needs.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while operating machinery.

Logistics Support: Collaborate with shipping departments to load/unload materials and prepare finished products for transport.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Carpentry Skills: Knowledge of, or experience in, general woodworking or framing.

Technical Interpretation: Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.

Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.

Attention to Detail: Precision in measurements and construction to ensure product safety.

Math Skills: Ability to work with fractions and measurements.

Pay Details:
