Position Summary
The Associate Production Manager & Community Engagement Manager oversees the administrative and operational functions of the production department, including purchasing, budget and inventory tracking, reporting, and internal communications. This role also leads the planning and execution of programs that engage students, alumni, and industry professionals, supporting recruitment efforts and ensuring the success of educational and non-production events.
Salary & Compensation

Possess working knowledge of theater production practices audience development and marketing strategies. (Required) Possess working knowledge of the producing and production practices associated with theater production (Required) Possess working knowledge of the responsibilities and duties of professional stage managers (Required) Ability to work independently and follow through on projects with minimum direction. (Required) Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to perform tasks of equal priority efficiently under time constraints. (Required) Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, faculty, staff and guest artists and campus partners. (Required) Skill in management of equipment, space, material and financial resources. (Required) Skill in prioritizing staff job responsibilities in order of relative importance to complete work in a timely manner. (Required) Ability to speak on a one-to-one basis and to groups, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to explain and demonstrate facilities, equipment and operations. (Required) Possess working knowledge of the planning, scheduling, budgeting and management of theatrical productions in an educational and professional environment. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as required by the production schedule. (Required) Possess working knowledge of event planning and coordination for guest speakers VIP arrangements and professional transition activities. (Required) Skill in rental outreach contracting and the management of facility use by external and campus partners. (Required) Demonstrate pride professionalism and commitment to excellence in community building and outreach. (Required) Marketing design and social media management experience. InDesign Experience (Required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
Bachelor's degree or / and equivalent experience in production and event management (Required)
