Job Description The Global Head of Editorial & Marketing Partnerships (EMP) leads the worldwide strategy, execution, and performance of editorial and marketing partnerships across Believe’s artists and labels. Reporting directly to Believe’s Chief Marketing Officer, this role is central to shaping how Believe drives visibility, discovery, and growth across global DSP ecosystems.

This is a high‑impact leadership role focused on maximizing Believe’s share of voice across DSPs (Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Meta and others). You will define how Believe wins in editorial and promotional environments—combining data, product, and strategic relationships to unlock opportunities at scale.

You are both analytical and product‑minded, with deep expertise in artist services and DSP dynamics. You will empower local teams with the tools, insights, and frameworks to succeed, while driving global alignment and securing premium opportunities for artists across all business units (Artist Services, Label & Artist Services, TuneCore).

Key responsibilities Data‑Driven EMP Strategy

Define and implement a global KPI framework to track editorial and promotional performance across artists, releases, and DSPs

Map Believe’s artists and catalogue to the most impactful EMP opportunities across platforms

Set performance benchmarks aligned to market share, release lifecycle, and artist segmentation

Partner with Product to evolve pitching tools, selection processes, and data infrastructure to drive performance and scalability

Integrate EMP into broader marketing strategies—defining sequencing, use cases, and best practices by genre and artist profile

Work with Data teams to embed measurement, automation, and a strong ROI lens across EMP efforts

Translate insights into clear playbooks, GTM materials, and narratives for internal teams and clients

Global DSP Relationship Building

Build and maintain senior relationships with editorial and marketing teams across DSPs globally

Secure high‑impact editorial, marketing, and promotional opportunities across all Believe business units

Track and benchmark Believe’s share of editorial placements to inform negotiation strategies and advocate for our artists

Stay ahead of DSP strategies and proactively position Believe artists for global campaigns, seasonal moments, and emerging opportunities (digital, OOH, and beyond)

Cross‑functional Leadership

Oversee central EMP operations across Artist Services, Label & Artist Services, and TuneCore, working closely with the Director of EMP Operations, with a focus on improving efficiency and scalability

Drive coordination across Product, Data, Marketing, and local EMP teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution

Translate data and product insights into actionable strategies for local teams to implement at scale

Elevate and showcase global artist priority programs to ensure they are consistently top‑of‑mind for DSP partners

Qualifications

15+ years of senior experience in strategic marketing, partnerships, or operations within the digital music ecosystem

Deep expertise in DSPs, editorial dynamics, and digital growth levers

Strong business, product, and data mindset with a focus on performance and ROI

Proven track record leading cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced, global environments

Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels

Additional Information Salary: $219,000-240,000
