
Credit Portfolio Officer

Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with internal credit policies and practices, regulatory policies and prepare, update, and ensure approval of all internal policy and procedure changes, keeping proper change and approval logs. Conduct organizational responsibilities, including performance management and evaluation (including managing the Review the Reviewer process). Conduct gap analyses and remediation work of any misalignments for policy changes and operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy to continuously identify process improvements and efficiencies to support business unit goals through dissecting issues and making recommendations. Monitor daily queue dashboard and production reports and address production and pipeline management issues and provide regular feedback on all initiatives, synthesize in-depth analysis succinctly, tracking, reviews and reporting emerging trends and opportunities, serving as an escalation point of contact to senior management for these and Service Level Agreement (SLA) related issues with the goal of enhancing customer experience. Conduct analyses related to policy, bureau and alternate credit information, and risk and reward trade-off by leveraging data using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment for creating ad-hoc analyses/Management Information System (MIS) and identify business opportunities to develop credit tests and risk strategies, balancing risk and return, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of policy tests and strategies. Establish cross-functional partnerships and networks to contribute to and execute cross-functional and business initiatives, such as developing/maintaining infrastructure through partnership with the Centralized Risk Infrastructure team and act as credit risk SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Qualifications Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance or related field and 4 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst, Senior Technical Manager or related position performing statistical and quantitative analysis on large data sets. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the listed roles. Full span of experience must include: Python, R; Tableau; and Statistical Modelling and Regression Models.
