Our Mortgage Banking Training is a full‑time, paid training program that prepares candidates for a rewarding career in the mortgage industry. The training provides a comprehensive understanding of the residential mortgage loan process, which leads to a full‑time Loan Processor position.

Loan processors collaborate with customers, underwriting, and the sales team to gather and analyze documents, creating complete loan files. Responsibilities include reviewing paystubs, bank statements, credit reports, and other documents based on each customer’s unique situation.

Training

Combination of online classroom learning, mentorship, and job shadowing.

Learn about the mortgage application process, various loan products, and investor guidelines and regulations.

Provides employees with knowledgeable and dedicated support upon training completion.

Instructor‑guided mortgage systems and applications training.

Loan Processor Job Summary Primarily responsible for performing functions related to the processing, underwriting, and closing of residential mortgages.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process and prepare purchase mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA).

Verify accuracy and adherence to investor guidelines of all documents required for a complete submission to Underwriting.

Provide consistent communication on loan status to customers to ensure a smooth mortgage transaction.

Maintain quality work in a fast‑paced environment.

Use multiple computer screens and software programs to multi‑task.

Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to process loans.

Cultivate relationships with peers as a peer mentor.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Trainee Program Applicants

At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, including professional/military experience, internships, or school leadership positions.

Bilingual Spanish skills highly preferred.

Ability to multi‑task and good attention to detail.

Dedicated workspace in a distraction‑free environment and reliable internet connection to allow for remote work.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: starting pay of $24.04 hourly. Eligible for monthly incentives upon successful completion of required training and based on defined performance objectives.

Benefits include up to 9 paid company holidays per year, up to 6 days of sick pay, and, for employees with less than 10 years of service, up to 17 PTO days per year (up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service). Eligible employees can participate in the Company’s 401(k) Plan and receive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. The company provides disability, basic life insurance, parental leave, voluntary insurance options, Employee Assistance Program, and tuition reimbursement (as applicable). State‑required benefits such as paid family and medical leave insurance and paid sick time are also available.

Additional Information Program will run through May 18, 2026. This position is a hybrid work arrangement – both in office and work from home.

Schedule: Core business hours are 7 am – 6 pm MST. Specific schedules depend on the team/geographic area and can change; overtime may be required during busy periods. During training, the schedule will be 8 am – 5 pm MST. Applicants must reside in Colorado at the time of hire.
