Position: Director of Business Development – Defense Sustainment & Test Solutions
Location: Huntsville, AL and Franklin, NC (Remote/Hybrid)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
Overview: Duotech Services, LLC., is a longstanding U.S. defense technology provider specializing in repair, sustainment, reverse engineering, radar systems, automated test equipment (ATE), and lifecycle support for military and aerospace platforms. With more than 12,000 NSNs repaired and support delivered to 40+ allied militaries, Duotech is a trusted partner for extending the life of mission critical systems.
We are expanding our strategic footprint in depot level repairs, sustainment programs, ATE development, and Other Transactional Authority (OTA) based opportunities. We are seeking a Director level leader to drive growth, shape strategy, and build high value relationships across the defense ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic growth initiatives in sustainment, repairs, and ATE development
Develop and execute a multi‑year growth strategy for sustainment, repairs, and ATE development
Identify high value markets, platforms, and programs aligned with Duotech’s capabilities and long‑term objectives
Lead opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and investment decisions
Build senior level relationships with major defense platform primes and subcontractors
Forge relationships and cultivate business with major Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) service providers
Leverage Duotech’s past performance to secure new programs
Develop key contacts across U.S. Department of War (DoW) program offices and depots
Pursue OTA opportunities and guide prototype to production transitions
Oversee capture strategies, teaming, and proposal development
Maintain a strong pipeline aligned with corporate strategy
Qualifications:
10‑12+ years of BD experience in the military and aerospace market; desire special focus in electronics sustainment, repairs, engineering services, and/or test equipment
Proven success winning major programs with primes or DoW agencies
Experience with OTA contracting and DoW acquisition
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills
Technical familiarity with sustainment, electronics repair, and/or test equipment is a plus
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; current active clearance is desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 applications
