The AVP of Marketing & Digital UX will manage marketing production staff and a suite of digital marketing assets and channels, including seattlecu.com and UX for online and mobile banking. You will lead the development of roadmaps to support the advancement and innovation of digital tools. Creating member‑oriented UX and content strategies that inform SEO and SEM will be crucial to taking the credit union to the next level. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and manage the annual marketing plan and budget.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
Advocate for accessibility, inclusive design, and responsive best practices.
Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve digital UX.
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the institution's goals and objectives.
Develop monthly campaign reporting to educate partners and staff and optimize results.
Plan, execute, and oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, community, and email marketing.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
Manage the Seattle Credit Union marketing member experience and website through innovative UX strategy.
Lead the content strategy, process, and the content development of marketing tools, including the website.
Oversee and partner on the search engine optimization and overall keyword management (SEO & SEM) for digital marketing, including the website.
Manage all aspects of the Google Universe for SCU, including Business Profile, Account Manager, Analytics and Tag Manager, etc. This would include working with partners for appropriate tagging and tracking for paid media.
Collaborate and partner closely with the Marketing team for broader strategic initiatives, devising opportunities for improvement of content, process, and marketing channel alignment.
Manage and leverage data integrity, automation, and analytics tools to track campaign performance and customer engagement metrics. These include Alpharank, HubSpot, and Raddon Integrator.
Allocate budgets across campaigns and monitor spending to maximize ROI. Generate reports and provide actionable insights to optimize future marketing strategies.
Oversee Marketing compliance adherence.
Supervise and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of teammates across the organization.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING Basic Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
Seven or more years of experience in marketing management.
Five or more years of experience with digital UX strategy and marketing management.
Three or more years coaching and/or leading people.
Deep experience with CMS systems, specifically WordPress.
Experience with analytic and optimization tools: Google Analytics, heat maps (i.e. Crazy Egg, Hotjar), other website and digital tools.
Support and partner on Marketing contracts, budgets, and invoice process.
Understanding of and experience collaborating with Risk and Compliance on all aspects of our digital marketing member experience.
Experience with HubSpot, Marketo, or other similar CRM platform.
Social media management – organic and/or paid: strategy and content. Including the use of aggregator tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout).
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem‑solving skills.
Ability to accommodate flexing priorities.
Solid understanding and ability to manage project timelines and schedules.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Paid search management experience: keywords, ads, managing budget/bids and relevant support tools (i.e. SemRush).
Experience with Raddon Integrator mCIF system.
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – CMS experience.
SharePoint site management experience, including submission forms and process, posting articles, building site pages.
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role with work performed remotely as well as in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
Team members may attend special off‑hour meetings and seminars.
The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
