Director of Baggage Handling Sales POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Baggage Handling Sales – N.A. is responsible for managing and executing sales strategies for Fives’ baggage handling solutions across North America. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the VP in achieving overall business objectives. The Director will lead a BHS sales team, manage key executive relationships and ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute N.A. sales strategy for baggage handling systems under guidance of VP.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with airport authorities, airlines, cruise lines, consultants and integrators.
Manage and mentor BHS sales team to achieve targets.
Prepare proposals and participate in RFP/RFI processes.
Negotiate contracts ensuring profitability and compliance.
Monitor industry trends and provide market intelligence to leadership.
Represent Fives at industry conferences and networking events inclusive of IABSC, PTE, and more.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
7+ years of experience in sales within the aviation or material handling industry. Strong preference for someone who has an extensive list of contacts within the BHS space.
Proven success in managing complex projects and long sales cycles.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
