Job Title: SAP Techno-Functional Consultant
Job Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid. On-site Tuesday-Thursday. On-Call for major incidents)
Job Type: W2 Contract / 6 Months Plus
We are seeking an SAP Consultant to support and manage enterprise SAP services in a large-scale corporate environment. This role will serve as a service owner responsible for SAP platform reliability, operational support, and continuous improvement. The consultant will work closely with internal teams, outsourced partners, and product owners to maintain system performance, reduce incidents, and improve production stability.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the SAP service owner responsible for platform reliability and operational performance.
Support SAP modules including MM, PM, FI/CO, Basis, and GRC.
Lead efforts to reduce incidents and improve system stability.
Work with audit teams to support compliance and control testing.
Review production changes and ensure quality and stability of releases.
Coordinate with development teams and product owners to prioritize defects and improvements.
Maintain SAP documentation and operational procedures.
Manage SAP licensing to maintain compliance and optimize cost.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of SAP engineering or consulting experience.
Experience with SAP modules such as MM, PM, FI/CO, Basis, or GRC.
Working knowledge of ABAP code; hands‑on development experience is preferred.
Experience operating within ITIL service management environments.
Experience using ServiceNow for incident and change management.
Experience working in outsourced IT environments.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP service ownership or application support leadership.
Experience with technology cost management and license optimization.
Experience working with both legacy and modern computing architectures.
Experience supporting enterprise SAP platforms within large organizations.
Additional Requirements
Hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday.
Participation in on‑call rotation for major incidents.
