Position Summary The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the engine of Axis Group’s top‑of‑funnel for the Retail & Consumer Goods and Manufacturing pods.
This role is responsible for building targeted account lists, executing high‑quality outbound campaigns, personalizing messaging by industry use cases, qualifying early interest, and booking meetings for Business Development Executives.
Responsibilities Targeting & Account List Development
Build and maintain vertical‑specific target account lists for RCG and Manufacturing
Identify relevant buyer personas
Partner with BDEs to prioritize strategic accounts
Outbound Prospecting
Execute outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone
Personalize messaging by industry challenges and analytics/AI use cases
Test and refine messaging strategies
Lead Qualification & Meeting Generation
Conduct light qualification for ICP fit, role, pain points, and timing
Schedule meetings for BDEs
Ensure clean handoff with clear notes
CRM & Process Excellence
Maintain accurate CRM records
Track outreach activity and conversion metrics
Support reporting on meetings booked and pipeline contribution
Pod Collaboration
Work closely with BDEs, Solution Directors, and marketing
Participate in pod pipeline and targeting reviews
Ideal Candidate Qualifications & Competencies Experience
1-3+ years in sales development or inside sales
B2B technology or consulting experience preferred
Skills & Attributes
Highly organized and process‑oriented
Strong written communication skills
Comfortable with cold outreach
Curious about data, analytics, and AI
Coachable and goal‑driven
