Job Description We are seeking a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a key member of the HR leadership team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role acts as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to executive and operational leaders, including the Presidents of the Austin, West, and Woodlands campuses, supporting a multi-site community hospital network. The HRBP partners closely with leadership to align people strategies with organizational priorities, driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and culture. This position delivers high-impact, data-informed HR solutions that advance excellence in patient care, research, and innovation. While supporting multiple locations, the role is primarily based in Austin and operates within a hybrid model, with periodic travel and in-person engagement across campuses. What You'll Do

Serve as a strategic partner to hospital and system leaders, translating business strategy into actionable human capital plans.

Lead people initiatives that drive culture, engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Anticipate and address workforce needs through data-informed HR solutions and proactive planning.

Collaborate across HR functions—including Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Total Rewards—to drive recruitment, retention, and development efforts.

Support key strategic initiatives such as clinical expansion, digital transformation, and academic partnerships through strong change management leadership.

Use workforce analytics to provide insights on turnover, engagement, and workforce trends that shape business decisions.

Partner with Employee Relations to manage workplace concerns in a fair, compliant, and forward-thinking manner.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required)

Master’s degree (preferred)

8 years of HR leadership experience with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or related strategic talent role supporting complex healthcare, academic medical center, or hospital environments (required)

Experience working in a multi-site healthcare organization or academic medical center preferred

Senior-level HR certification: SPHR or SHRM-SCP (preferred)

Strong ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and lead through change

Experience using HR analytics and workforce metrics to drive insight and improvement
