Position Overview The Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities within the cabinet and countertop industry. This role focuses on expanding the company’s client base, strengthening relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and market development.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion: Identify new markets, channels, and customer segments for cabinet and countertop products (residential, commercial, multi-family).

Lead Generation: Research and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, trade shows, participation in trade associations and digital outreach.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, remodelers, property managers, interior designers, architects, and developers.

Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive account management and business development initiatives.

Brand Promotion: Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations to enhance brand visibility.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

3–7 years of business development or sales experience.

Proven track record of developing new accounts and achieving sales goals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings (preferred).

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Overnight travel.

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift products and samples up to 30 pounds unassisted.
