Job Summary Chartwells K12 is seeking an
Associate Director of Business Development
who shares our values, wants to work with a team of great individuals, must win and wants to join winners, and is committed to contributing to and being part of our success. Reporting to the VP of sales with a dotted line to the Regional Sales Director, the Associate Director of Business Development will be responsible for expanding our Chartwells K12 client portfolio in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region by building very strong external and internal relationships, conducting extensive prospect research, generating quality leads, developing prospects, and being instrumental in selling new business.
The successful candidate will share our values of excellence and integrity. The Associate Director of Business Development will work with a sense of urgency with our prospective clients to understand their current and future needs. The Associate Director of Business Development will educate prospects on the benefits of working with Chartwells by clearly establishing the value of our services related to their specific needs and how we are distinguished from our competitors – with our service, our culture, and our commitment to the very best student nutrition.

50-60% Travel
Responsibilities
High degree of Cold Call Prospecting
Time and Territory Management
Trade Show Support
Building strong internal and external relationships
Proposal Development/RFP Responses
Database Management / Maintenance
Presentations and email marketing support
Extensive Prospect Research and Pre-call planning
Survey Support / Execution
Initial Prospect Qualification
Developing financial proforma modeling
Contract Support
