The Role: Account Executive and Client Relations Specialist - Mobility
The Team: S&P Global Mobility's Sales team drives growth by connecting automakers and national sales companies with industry-leading data and insights. Our collaborative team operates in a fast-paced environment where relationship-building and strategic thinking are essential to success. Responsibilities and Impact As an Account Executive, you will collaborate closely with the Account team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that drives revenue growth by expanding our existing revenue base and identifying new opportunities. Your contributions will focus on S&P Global Mobility's industry performance, dealer network planning, and recall offerings for both existing and new clients.
Account Management: Oversee account management while supporting new business development efforts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Sales Pipeline Development: Continuously generate a robust sales pipeline that aligns S&P Global Mobility solutions with customer challenges, supporting overall revenue growth in line with quotas.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with internal product and consulting teams, account management teams, marketing, and sales operations to drive success.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service for current products and implement a comprehensive customer retention strategy focused on growth and business development.
Project Management: Manage client onboarding and ongoing deliverables, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous engagement.
CRM Utilization: Maintain real-time sales activity in the Salesforce platform, ensuring up-to-date information on all client interactions and opportunities.
Voice of the Customer: Collaborate cross-functionally with peers and colleagues to share best practices and ensure that the "voice of the customer" is reflected in marketing, product, operational, and decision-making processes.
What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (advanced degree preferred)
5+ years of sales experience in data/automotive industries or client-facing roles in market representation, incentives, sales operations, marketing, parts and service, or procurement
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Deep understanding of prospective workflows and business objectives to deliver solution-oriented approaches
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation abilities
Self-motivated professional comfortable working in remote environments
Proficiency with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics) for opportunity tracking and customer management
Knowledge of sales performance metrics and KPI analysis
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple concurrent projects
Results-driven mindset with strong ambition for professional development and career advancement
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and effective task prioritization abilities
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000-$100,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
