Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist
ROLE PURPOSE The Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist supports the execution of marketing and communication activities across digital channels and internal platforms for North America. This role focuses on content creation, design support, and campaign execution, while also playing an active role in supporting internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, the position contributes to both external brand visibility in North America and clear, engaging internal communication across teams. The role is designed as a development opportunity, building experience in digital marketing, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support External Marketing & Content Creation (North America)
Assist in creating written and visual content (website, social media, email campaigns, sales materials) for the North America market
Support updates to website content and basic SEO improvements
Help manage LinkedIn content and scheduling
Assist in tracking basic performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics)
Contribute to monthly reporting preparation
Assist in Campaign Execution
Support the execution of marketing campaigns under guidance
Help develop visuals and messaging aligned with brand guidelines
Coordinate timelines and materials with internal teams
Ensure consistency across marketing materials
Support Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
Assist in preparing employee communications (announcements, newsletters, presentations)
Support company-wide messaging initiatives in North America
Help translate business or technical topics into clear, engaging content
Contribute to consistency between external messaging and internal communication
Support Events & Marketing Activities
Assist with preparation of trade shows and events (materials, logistics)
Help promote events on digital channels
Maintain Marketing Operations
Maintain and organize marketing assets and files
Support creation of basic design materials (presentations, flyers, templates)
Assist cross-functional teams (Sales, HR, Operations) with marketing needs
Manage tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–2 years of relevant marketing, digital marketing, or communications experience in a B2B environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong writing and editing skills, able to turn technical or scientific topics into clear, engaging content for broad audiences.
Proficient in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and capable of basic photography and video editing for marketing and digital use.
Working knowledge of SEO/GEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword optimization.
Experience creating and managing content for platforms like LinkedIn, websites (WordPress or CMS), email, and internal channels.
Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work closely across teams such as Sales, Operations, HR, and Leadership.
Work primarily out of the Cincinnati office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote.
Occasional travel to trade shows or other North American locations, with advance notice.
Occasionally work in plant areas that require PPE and follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
