
Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a book of business valued at $2M in premium, consisting of standard to middle‑market personal lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the California insurance market, including exposure to the California Fair Plan and DIC coverage. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Managing a book of business with accounts ranging from $5,000 to $40,000 in premium.
Providing end‑to‑end account management, including assisting customers with renewals, processing endorsements, and advising on additional lines of coverage.
Quoting new and renewal business as needed.
Handling remarkets and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
Collaborating with carriers such as Mercury, Travelers, Safeco, and E&S markets.
Utilizing AMS 360 software to manage accounts efficiently.
Maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications / Requirements
Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in California.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines account management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the California Fair Plan, DIC coverage, and working with carriers such as Mercury, Travelers, Safeco, and E&S markets.
Soft Skills:
Personable and client-focused.
Trainable and eager to learn.
Solutions‑oriented with the ability to think on their feet.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
