East Region Hematology Account Manager - US An integral part of the Nova Biomedical team, the Hematology Account Manager will be responsible for selling the Advanced Instruments (AI) GloCyte Cell Counter for Cerebrospinal Fluid. In this role, the Hematology Account Manager will work directly with existing and prospective customers to identify their needs, deliver product demonstrations, and provide exceptional product support. The Hematology Account Manager’s primary objective will be to meet or exceed sales objectives within acceptable profit goals.

What you’ll do

Responsible for all aspects of the sale including lead qualification, virtual and on‑site product demonstrations, quotations, negotiations, and post‑sale follow up.

Initiate outbound calling plan to generate product interest.

Maintain a high level of consultative sales skills, product and application methodology knowledge with associated features and benefits required to convert customer needs to sales.

Develop and maintain effective time and account management practices.

Maintain accurate and timely data in the CRM.

Provide regular and accurate forecast information for the territory in the CRM.

Participate in or support local, regional, and national shows as requested.

Conduct demonstrations, coordinate installations, and provide customer training.

Build relationships with procurement departments to streamline approval processes.

Develop key internal relationships with Marketing to ensure collaboration and alignment for effective selling strategies.

Respond to problems or complaints that arise in accounts, either by personal action or by securing assistance and support from others in the organization; work as a liaison for reporting customer complaints.

Serve existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities.

Complete all reports and customer information effectively and consistently as deemed necessary by the company.

Give feedback to management regarding new potential applications or competition in the marketplace.

Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice.

Follow all local safety procedures, State and Federal OSHA regulations, and report any safety concerns.

Maintain product knowledge, competitive awareness, and a customer‑driven focus.

Contribute to a professional sales atmosphere through positive interaction with sales staff, internal departments, and customers.

What we are looking for in you

Medical sales experience required (hematology/diagnostic experience is preferred).

Minimum two years of sales experience.

Technical experience preferred.

Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Prior sales experience is a plus.

Well‑developed PC/MAC skills including MS Windows, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with a CRM.

Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel, at times on short notice.

Ability to manage accounts while also managing costs and risks.

Ability to effectively communicate (orally and written) both technical and non‑technical topics.

Strong presentation skills demonstrated before customers, peers, and senior management.

Ability to recognize and manage potential problem areas and resolve them with integrity.

Degree preferred in Sciences or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements for this role include:

Typical office environment.

Must be able to use basic office equipment including computer, standard MS Office applications, printer, copier, phone, etc.

Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel will be primarily within the United States.

Work Location: Field, US, General Business Hours

Targeted Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000/year.
