In this role, you will analyze operational and financial trends related to auto bodily injury claims across both Personal and Business Insurance. Your insights will play a critical role in guiding business decisions and improving our claims processes through the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and emerging trends.
As a member of our Claims Liability Performance Analytics team, you will:
Identify impactful improvements within the Auto Bodily Injury Claims organization, focusing on severity management, litigation strategies, and enhancing customer experience.
Connect significant macro trends—such as medical inflation and regulatory changes—to auto BI claim trends and overall operational performance.
Engage in essential initiatives within the Auto BI claims space, providing independent assessments on project health and benefits realization.
Collaborate with segment and actuarial leaders to share insights and discuss critical metrics on a regular basis, contributing to strategic decision‑making processes.
Regularly develop and present materials for our executive leadership team, showcasing performance metrics, emerging risks, and actionable recommendations for Auto BI claims strategies.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with experience in data or performance analytics considered a plus.
Proven expertise in data analytics and proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, Excel, Tableau).
Strong foundation in data analysis and a commitment to learning and growth in AI literacy.
Proficiency in SQL for data management; familiarity with Python is advantageous.
Collaborative mindset with strong critical thinking skills to deliver actionable insights.
Excellent communication abilities to build trusted partnerships across the organization.
Experience in managing multiple projects while aligning objectives effectively.
Ability to lead initiatives without formal authority and demonstrate flexibility in team or independent settings.
Customer‑centric approach, with the ability to translate needs into innovative, practical solutions.
A demonstrated history of delivering impactful data solutions.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
This position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement, with an expectation for those near a company office to work in‑person three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates located farther from an office will maintain their current work setup but may need to visit as business needs dictate.
Compensation The annualized base pay range for this role is $94,000 - $141,000, based on market evaluations. Actual pay may vary according to individual performance and expertise. This role's compensation package may also include bonuses, long‑term incentives, and recognition awards.
