Summary The Associate Director, AI Education & Integration is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert in clinical integration of artificial intelligence and as program director for the Fellowship in Academic Medicine: Artificial Intelligence (FAME-AI) program. The Associate Director, AI Education & Integration is also responsible for supporting AI adoption and integration in other Executive Education programs and on the NEOMED campus.

Principal Functional Responsibilities

FAME‑AI Program Leadership and Curriculum Oversight

– Lead FAME‑AI program curriculum development, review, and content creation. Recruit and supervise program instructors as necessary. Partner with subject‑matter counterparts at affiliate organizations to ensure the program meets customer needs. Support program marketing, registration, and learner selection as needed. Lead curriculum content development as subject matter expert in artificial intelligence and its integration with clinical operations and patient care. Coordinate all program events and learning environments, online and in‑person. Assess, improve, and report on the program based on learner feedback and program review outcomes. Oversee administration of learner outcomes assessment and program evaluation.

Executive Education Instruction and Mentorship

– Apply subject matter expertise in artificial intelligence and data science in a healthcare setting to instruct and mentor learners in Executive Education programs at the direction of the Executive Director, Executive & Affiliate Education. Duties include promoting professional development of learners, connecting them with resources, collaborating with the Executive Education support team, attending synchronous learning sessions, supervising completion of learner assignments, meeting with learners requiring additional support, and evaluating learner assignment submissions and final projects.

Budget and Administrative Responsibilities

– Manage and prepare the annual FAME‑AI program budget. Provide program and content‑specific marketing materials to support Executive Education marketing goals and strategies. Prepare program reports as requested.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration and Support

– Serve as an on‑campus subject matter expert and resource in AI. Support awareness, knowledge acquisition, adoption, and integration of artificial intelligence into the departmental operations of the University. In partnership with the Operational Excellence team (Strategy Office), provide consultation to departments and teams to identify and implement AI solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes.

Miscellaneous Duties

– Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Master’s degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, statistics, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating artificial intelligence into clinical operations.

Experience in curriculum development or instructional design for adult education.

Experience teaching in a health or life sciences setting.

Physical Requirements Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment. Must be able and willing to travel to off‑site events and educational sessions.

Department Specific Information NEOMED’s Division of Strategy and Transformation seeks an Associate Director, AI Education & Integration who wants to contribute to meaningful work in a collaborative academic environment. The position will lead the integration of artificial intelligence into daily operations, collaborate with executive‑level partners, and support mission‑critical projects related to AI.

Starting Salary Range $68,075 – $88,498, commensurate with experience.
