Your role
We are currently seeking an Engineered Solutions Sales Leader - Gas & Boosting to join our team.
Your Mission
Further develop and execute the plans to profitably grow the High-Pressure Piston and Industrial Gas Business for Quincy Customer Center
Guide customers in sizing and selection of High-Pressure Piston and Industrial Gas packages to provide the best solution to the customer with the lowest total cost of ownership.
Prospect new accounts to generate revenue, effectively manage quote log and follow up as needed, develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
Use business tools, such as Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), among others, to gather necessary customer information for quoting, follow‑up and to record activities.
Train our Sales and Service team members, as well as distributors, so they are at the level of competence needed to support customers as a world‑class organization.
Maintain a strong knowledge of competitive market pricing to advise channel partners and maximize gross profit.
Provide sales channel development to meet key growth targets by designing and presenting persuasive PowerPoint presentations that support business development & strategic initiatives
Direct support of the Sales team for all high‑profile sales opportunities, focused on understanding the application and needs of each customer and providing the right complete solution
Identify and develop potential OEMs and application partners for the high‑pressure and industrial gas market to further maximize sales in different applications and industries
Daily support for Sales: Along with the Business Development Manager, be the first point of contact for the Sales team and distributors when key information is needed
Work on an application‑based approach to increase sales. Share, learn and adapt best practices to increase the knowledge on various applications and replicate the success of other customer centers.
To succeed, you will need Required Experience And Skills
3 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment system design including compressors and rotating machinery.
Clear understanding of pressurized air and gas system concepts such as dewpoint, drying, condensate collection, pressure ratio, multi‑stage compression, heat exchangers, interstage coolers and aftercoolers.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Flexibility in adapting to new situations while enjoying the challenges you are presented with daily
Result oriented
Ability to think and act entrepreneurially with analytical skills, you are customer and service‑oriented, while taking a very pragmatic approach
Team player – able to cooperate with commercial and technical people, and to communicate well with remote colleagues
Willing to travel up to 50% or more
Fluent in English
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in equipment sales, product management, or business development
Technical knowledge of high‑pressure compression & industrial gas generation
Experience in handling high pressure business with a variety of applications.
Industry sales experience with a history of delivering sales results
Accountability Reports to Business Development Manager, High Pressure Pistons
Education And Requirements
An academic background in Engineering and/or Marketing or equivalent work experience
Must have a high technical and commercial aptitude
Understanding the local market and local distribution is a plus
Physical Demands
Required to be able to move about the facility regularly (standing, walking)
Must be fit, willing and able to travel regularly on planes and by car
