Strategic Account Leadership
Drive continuous alignment through multiple, weekly in-person sessions at Comcast HQ, serving as the primary face of Vantiva to ensure seamless communication. Own Vantiva's execution of Comcast's Long-Range Plan (LRP) and maintaining a rigorous 12-month rolling forecast to ensure business predictability. Act as the "conductor" across Vantiva's global departments, synchronizing efforts to meet the specific technical and commercial demands of the Comcast account. Customer Relationship & Advocacy Build and navigate a complex map of stakeholder relationships to establish deep ties with Comcast's senior leadership and decision-makers. Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" within Vantiva, ensuring Comcast's strategic goals are integrated into our internal product roadmaps and service delivery models. Cross-Functional Commercial Excellence Lead the end-to-end development of commercial proposals, ensuring deals create value for all stakeholders. Partner closely with Vantiva operations to guarantee supply chain resilience, ensuring product availability aligns with Comcast's deployment schedules. Facilitate "Engineering Excellence" by bridging the gap between Comcast's technical requirements and Vantiva's R&D teams to deliver market-leading innovation. Qualifications & Requirements
Professional Experience: 812+ years of experience in senior account management or business development, specifically managing "Tier 1" accounts. Deep, prior experience working directly with Comcast is highly preferred; alternatively, a proven track record navigating other major Network Service Providers (NSPs) or MSOs. Proven knowledge of managing Fortune 500 technology accounts, with the ability to navigate multi-year contract cycles and high-volume hardware/software deployments. Technical & Industry Expertise: Advanced knowledge of the broadband landscape, specifically DOCSIS and PON architectures, alongside a strong grasp of Wi-Fi 7 and next-gen video CPE standards, preferred. Ability to translate industry shifts (like the move to 10G or edge computing) into actionable business opportunities for the client. Education & Professional Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered a significant advantage. Core Skills & Competencies: Strategic Vision & Execution Ability to bridge the gap between daily tactical sales execution and multi-year strategic account planning. Comfortable navigating the long-term lifecycle of the Comcast account. Technical Translation & Domain Authority Deep fluency in complex connectivity architectures (DOCSIS, PON, Wi-Fi 7) with the unique ability to "translate" technical specifications into compelling business value for both business and technical stakeholders. Acts as a trusted advisor rather than a vendor, aligning Vantiva's R&D roadmap with Comcast's next-gen network requirements. High-Stakes Negotiation A commercial expert to navigate intricate procurement processes and successfully secure major contracts. Strong understanding of contracting and supply agreement legal terms. Modern Tool Mastery & Efficiency Expert-level proficiency in the MS Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint and Excel modeling). Early adopter of Generative AI tools to enhance market research, streamline internal reporting, and accelerate content creation.
