Job Summary Hartville is seeking an entry‑level Insurance Agent (Sales Focused) who will report to the Supervisor, Sales. Agents are responsible for assisting customers by providing information about products and/or services, confidently answering questions, and ultimately helping them see the value in choosing coverage to protect their pets.
Job Location:
Remote – USA.
Main Responsibilities
Actively contributes to solution innovation, sales efforts, and retention strategies, turning everyday service interactions into opportunities to reinforce value and secure commitment from both current and prospective clients.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals by actively seeking new business opportunities and converting leads into customers.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients by providing information about pet insurance products and services.
Claims Assistance: Provide support to clients in the claims process, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge, staying updated on industry developments.
Maintains understanding of federal and state regulations to include compliance.
Responds to internal and external inquiries within stated service level agreements.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the broader goals of the team and contribute to a high‑performing, customer‑focused sales environment.
Basic Qualifications
2 years of sales, call center, or relevant experience preferred.
Must have and maintain Property & Casualty License, or must obtain within 45 days of hire.
