The Role
This is a senior, high impact role for a strategic thinker who operates comfortably across culture, content, and commerce. As Lead Strategist, you will lead the thinking behind Pubity’s most important client work, turning briefs into clear, compelling ideas and commercial solutions that win. You will sit at the centre of Sales, Creative, and Production, owning the pre sales process from brief through to pitch. You will also play a key role in shaping how we package our offering, embed AI into workflows, and raise the standard of how we measure and communicate campaign success. If you bring both big picture thinking and strong execution, and have a genuine interest in youth culture and social media, this role offers real influence and ownership. Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Client Briefs
Lead responses to client briefs of all sizes, delivering clear, high quality strategic thinking that wins business Act as a strategic partner in client meetings, presenting with confidence and clarity alongside Sales Identify opportunities for renewals and upsell by adding measurable strategic value Build and apply measurement frameworks that demonstrate campaign impact and improve future output Productisation and Innovation
Package Pubity’s offering around key cultural moments such as Super Bowl, World Cup, Coachella and more Develop scalable, repeatable products that support commercial growth Drive innovation in formats and approaches to keep Pubity ahead in youth culture and social media Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney and Claude to improve speed, insight, and output quality Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with Creative, Production, and Sales to deliver cohesive, client ready strategies Partner with regional teams to ensure consistency across markets Manage multiple projects at pace, maintaining quality under pressure Mentor junior team members and help shape how strategy is delivered across the business Essential Skills and Experience
7+ years in strategy, integrated marketing, brand partnerships, or a senior agency role Strong experience responding to briefs quickly and to a high standard Proven ability to turn ideas into scalable, commercial products Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and Gen Z audiences Excellent storytelling and presentation skills Comfortable using AI tools to support ideation and delivery Strong analytical mindset, using data to inform strategy Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities effectively Collaborative and confident working across teams and stakeholders Proficient with Canva, PowerPoint or Google Slides, and Excel Nice to Have
Experience working on US and international campaigns Strong awareness of cultural moments across entertainment, sport, and internet culture Background in social first publishers or fast growth media environments Understanding of performance measurement and optimisation Experience mentoring or managing others Why Pubity Group
