Candidate Requirements

Business Development Mindset:

Must be comfortable and proactive with cold calling potential clients to build a robust sales pipeline from scratch.

Relationship Management:

Proven ability to manage a CRM and maintain "healthy" long-term relationships with a legacy customer base.

Solution-Oriented:

Ability to conduct on-site "Air Audits" to identify energy-saving opportunities (kW reduction) for clients.

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable discussing Rotary Screw, VFS, and Reciprocating technology.

Proven Industrial Sales:

3+ years of B2B experience in Compressed Air, Power Gen, Pumps, or Fluid Power.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition:

Actively prospect, cold call, and qualify new industrial leads within the North Jersey territory.

Utility Rebate Strategy:

Leverage knowledge of local energy efficiency rebates (e.g., NJ Clean Energy) to reduce the ROI period for customer equipment upgrades.

Account Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing accounts, ensuring their systems are optimized and their service needs are met.

Project Management:

Oversee the sales process from initial site walkthrough to final installation, ensuring seamless integration with the customer's existing infrastructure.
