
Revenue Analyst

TruBlu HR Solutions is hiring for a Chargemaster Coordinator for a remote contract opportunity (13 weeks) with potential to convert to a permanent role. This position requires occasional attendance at onsite meetings in the Houston, TX area and is covering an FMLA/LOA.
This role is ideal for an experienced coding and revenue cycle professional who thrives in a highly analytical, detail-oriented environment and has a strong understanding of billing compliance and chargemaster maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign and maintain CPT, HCPCS, and revenue codes for all billable services
Manage and update the Charge Description Master (CDM) with accuracy and compliance
Reconcile chargemaster updates across systems using test environments and export files
Collaborate with departments to ensure services align with appropriate coding
Maintain detailed documentation to support audit readiness
Research payer guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance
Prepare revenue and usage reports as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of coding and/or revenue cycle experience
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, medical terminology, and billing regulations
Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and data analysis
High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work across multiple systems and adapt quickly
Certifications (one required): CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, COC-A, RHIA, or RHIT
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Remote with occasional onsite meetings
Candidate must provide their own equipment (desktop & monitor required)
