Director - Regional Accounts

Overview The Director of Regional Accounts provides customer service for one or more new or established accounts. This role is responsible for interacting with customers on an executive level as well as understanding and communicating agreed upon expectations to field offices and increasing the market share of the business by providing excellent service, commitment to the customer, and introducing additional services.

This is a hybrid role.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Facilitate and coordinate customer set-ups

Coordinate and attend customer meetings

Discuss, understand, and meet agreed upon standards as mutually determined by CorVel and customer

Develop/maintain account service instructions, communicate to service staff, and post on CorVel's Sharepoint

Knowledge of CorVel's services and completion of all CorVel Product Training Modules

Manage contract renewals/price increases; coordinate with the AE and/or management team as appropriate

Resolve service issues through appropriate channels; elevate operations issues to Local Management Team or Regional Vice President as appropriate

Responsible for all aspects of collections in conjunction with the respective operations management

Present information to assigned customers in an organized and persuasive fashion for contract renewals, service issue discussions, or additional product sales

Oversee integrity and delivery of client-specific reports

Maintain continuous communication with customer(s) to ensure that all service expectations are identified and maintained

Will serve as an Account Management mentor to assist new AM’s with onboarding and first 24 months of employment

Monthly account updates and all new service opportunities documented in Salesforce

Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

Functional expertise is expected in workers’ compensation, auto, general liability, and disability management

Demonstrated expertise in managed care services such as Network Utilization, Case Management, Bill Review and Pharmacy Benefit Management

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strategic problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel

Leadership presence and mentorship mentality

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

A minimum of 5 years of managed care, risk, or TPA experience

Pay Range CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $81,617 – $135,877
