You will work on a mobile clinic, providing vision evaluations and eye exams to students, and receive competitive pay and bonuses. Salary: $95–$100 per hour. Signing bonus up to $1,000 per day committed, with a maximum of $5,000 for a 5‑day work week. Schedule: Full‑time or part‑time, Monday to Friday. The organization offers free eye exams and glasses to students in underserved communities, providing over 3.5 million vision screenings, 690 000 eye exams and 570 000 new glasses in the last decade. Position Description
Vision To Learn seeks a licensed optometrist in South Carolina to conduct eye examinations and provide appropriate care in a mobile setting. The role is up to 5 days per week and requires flexibility to travel across several counties. Key Position Responsibilities
Provide vision evaluations: visual acuity, binocular vision, intraocular pressure, pupil assessment, full refraction, and ocular health assessment. Prescribe vision devices, test patient equipment for suitability, and instruct the patient on proper use. Ensure patient diagnoses are properly documented in the internal system. Qualifications
South Carolina optometry license. Flexibility to commute throughout Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Union counties. Pass a Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test. Other Requirements
Eligible candidates must pass a DOJ background check/fingerprinting (LiveScan), child abuse history clearance, TB test, and drug test. Schedule
