Key Responsibilities:
Write short articles, blog posts, and human interest stories
Conduct light research on relevant topics, community issues or news, to strengthen article accuracy and depth
Draft content that highlights program activities, milestones, and community impact
Collaborate with staff to identify upcoming stories, milestones, or initiatives that would make engaging written pieces
Edit and proofread content for clarity and tone
Assist with maintaining a consistent voice across communication materials
Ideal Skills & Qualities:
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Curious, detail‑oriented, and comfortable asking questions
Able to maintain confidentiality and represent sensitive stories respectfully
Enjoys crafting content that informs, inspires, and uplifts
