Your New Role Pay Range: $70,080 - $87,600 / annually; based on location and experience. Hours: Regular business hours Monday-Friday; must be able to work flexible hours for travel, as needed. Location: The selected candidate must be in a current Chuze market, San Diego, California, or Denver, Colorado, preferred. Responsibilities: The Social Media Specialist role is where community, culture, and creativity collide. You’ll bring our brand voice to life through developing compelling, scroll-stopping content, capturing authentic moments from Chuzers inside our clubs, and fostering impactful connections with our members. Amplify our social presence and be the driving force that keeps Chuze Fitness fresh, engaging, and impossible to ignore. Create and publish social-first content (copy, photos, video) that brings our brand to life, translating live experiences into engaging, visually consistent digital content. Partner with in-club Chuzers and internal departments to uncover stories, amplify Chuze events, and turn everyday moments into standout posts. Support and optimize our social brand strategy for visibility and engagement across socials through content structure, tagging, and captioning, maintaining a regular post and engagement schedule. Build long-term brand affinity through authentic interactions with the Chuze community in comments, DMs, and tags, sharing hyperlocal storytelling, and amplifying grassroots activations. Stay ahead of emerging trends and recurring themes to keep our social content fresh and relevant. Track engagement, reach, and sentiment metrics across platforms, sharing key insights with stakeholders. Requirements: 2-4 years of experience managing organic social media content and engagement on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn pages. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging, platform-native social content, including copy, video, and graphics. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple platforms and priorities. Familiarity with social performance metrics, basic reporting, and content optimization. Experience with platforms such as Canva or similar design tools. Must have a valid driver’s license, subject to ADA accommodation, with regular ability to visit Chuze business units across the organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage online communities and collaborate cross-functionally. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback. Preferences: Experience in fitness, lifestyle, wellness, or community-driven brands, particularly in-person events and activations. Familiarity with social scheduling or listening tools. Trend-savvy and culturally aware, with a curiosity for emerging platforms. Physical Abilities: Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English. Walking, bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement. Standing for long periods. Phone and computer operations. Ability to lift at least 50lbs. Travel Required Yes. Up to 50% – attend conferences, trainings, new club openings and events.
