Job Summary The primary role of the Associate Account Manager is to provide excellent customer service to our policyholders and prospects by answering their inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills and have a good understanding of insurance products and services.
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from policyholders and prospects.
Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure.
Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker.
Create billing activities for accounting. This function may involve reviewing the insured’s account, obtaining finance agreements and collecting payment from the insured.
Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure.
Keep all information in agency management system accurate including driver/vehicle schedules.
Activity all correspondence, email, phone calls, etc. in agency management system.
Utilize suspense system for pending items.
Provide backup for other agency service staff as needed.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience in customer service, preferably on the commercial lines side of the insurance industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically with Word and Excel, required.
Applied Epic experience preferred.
Active Property & Casualty License required.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
