The Student LIFE Ambassador Program provides leadership opportunities for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Everett Community College. Student LIFE Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as EvCC representatives, and perform duties at various EvCC campus and community events.
Title Student Leader – Student LIFE Ambassador
Salary $20.77/hour
Hours Average of 30 hours a month, maximum of 69

Important Dates June 7, 2026: Priority Application Date
June 15-30: Tentative Interview Dates (for selected candidates)
Required Training Dates August 31 - September 4: Student Leader Fall Training
Required Work Dates September 17-18: EvCC Welcome Days
Every Wednesday Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarter from 3-4pm: Weekly staff meeting
Typical Work
Staff the front desk of Student LIFE; greeting all guests and providing referrals to appropriate College departments and offices
Maintain a working knowledge of all Student LIFE services, events, and activities.
Conduct campus tours for a variety of audiences
Participate in large-scale Student LIFE and EvCC events
Check out items to student clubs
Provide excellent customer service in person, through email, and over the phone
Enrichment
Gain leadership skills
Create a sense of belonging and community on campus.
Have fun!
Engage and invest in the College community.
Qualifications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be currently enrolled in at least 10 credits of college-level courses at Everett Community College
Must have and maintain a quarterly and cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, printers, and telecommunication devices
Ability to observe, analyze, and interpret data from various sources
Ability to prepare and present detailed reports, both in written and audible formats
Ability to exchange information on the phone, through video conferencing, or in person
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including indoors and outdoors
Ability to work in fast-paced or crowded environments
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Terms of Employment
Temporary position, not to exceed 16 hours/week or 69 hours/month
Days and times vary by assignment
Overtime eligible; FLSA non-exempt
Position is subject to Everett Community College policies and procedures
