Compensation Payment Specialist

This job has two primary responsibilities performing monthly payroll and benefits reconciliation and processing monthly incentive commission payments. The specialist ensures that all payments follow established compensation plans, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards. The role will also be responsible for reporting pertaining to monitoring and tracking these processes. Additionally, the role will assist the Compensation team with reporting and data validation, as needed. Key Responsibilities

Payroll Reconciliation & Processing Validate earnings, deductions, taxes, benefit contributions, retro pay, bonuses, and manual adjustments. Support month-end close through preparation of payroll-related journal entries, variance analyses, and GL reconciliations. Work with payroll and benefits to resolve discrepancies. Communicate findings and resolutions clearly and professionally. Incentive Processing Process monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc payments per established compensation plans and processes. Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Sales Operations, and Technology teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure line-of-business is following incentive payout guidelines. Compensation Reporting and Data Processing Prepare monthly headcount reports. Assist in preparing monthly dashboard reports. Assist with compensation changes and processing in system. Qualifications

Education & Experience Associate or bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR, or related field preferred. 25 years of experience in payroll reconciliation, compensation processing, or incentive/commission administration. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates). Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG, Dayforce) preferred. Experience with commission tools (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ, SAP Commissions) is a plus.
