SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on
Continuous Improvement Specialist
to assist with streamlining our manufacturing processes. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can lead efforts in process improvement, ensuring our operations are efficient, cost-effective, and continuously evolving. While furniture production experience is preferred, it is not required. This position involves leadership, organization, and a focus on innovation and operational excellence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Introduce best practices and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance overall efficiency. Train and engage team members in process improvement initiatives to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement strategies. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proven experience in process improvement in a production environment or a related manufacturing role. Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and optimizing workflows. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. Track record of motivating and developing teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process improvement Experience in upholstered furniture is preferred but not required. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite).
