We're excited to grow our team by hiring a Business Development Specialist who will focus exclusively on generating new business opportunities and serve as a key driver of Liberty Software’s growth. You will engage prospective pharmacy partners through proactive outreach and relationship-building, connecting with decision-makers, identifying opportunities, and expanding Liberty’s presence in the healthcare industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meaningful conversations, understands customer needs, and ensures smooth transitions from initial contact to long-term partnership.

What You’ll Do:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities for the PharmacyOne platform in collaboration with the Director of Sales and broader sales team.
Initiate contact with prospective pharmacies through personalized outreach and discovery conversations
Maintain detailed records of outreach activity, lead progression, and account status in HubSpot
Facilitate a seamless transition to the appropriate Business Development Manager for ongoing engagement and account development
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging, outreach cadences, and targeting strategies
Stay informed on Liberty’s products, training initiatives, and new promotional launches
Represent Liberty Software at local, state, and national trade shows as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of business development, cold calling, or lead generation experience
Comfort navigating professional B2B sales conversations with pharmacy owners and managers
Confident telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with multiple stakeholders at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, consultative style
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to stay focused on key objectives in a fast-paced environment
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred; Zoho or Salesforce also relevant)
Research, problem-solving, and analytical skillsSelf-starter with a growth mindset
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to travel up to 30%
