Role Description This full‑time on‑site Artistic Director role is based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Artistic Director will oversee the artistic vision and programming of Milagro, including curating theatre productions and cultural events. Responsibilities involve collaborating with creative teams, directing performances, managing budgets, and supervising staff and artists. The role also entails community outreach, fostering partnerships, and driving creative excellence to fulfill Milagro’s mission of promoting Latino arts and culture.
Qualifications
Experience in theatre direction, artistic programming, and performing arts leadership
Proficient in budget management and planning for artistic projects
Strong skills in team collaboration, leadership, and decision‑making
Passionate about Latino arts, culture, and community engagement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Track record of building partnerships and fostering diverse, inclusive artistic environments
Familiarity with the cultural and artistic landscape of the Pacific Northwest is a plus
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Performing Arts, Arts Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
