Director of Rehab DOR Job Summary: Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of high-quality long-term care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Rehab (DOR) to join our dynamic team in East Moline, Illinois. As a key member of our leadership team, the DOR will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative leadership and strategic direction to the rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services to meet the needs of our residents, with a focus on physical, occupational, and speech therapy

Collaborate with the medical staff, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of rehabilitation therapists, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists

Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, physician offices, and other external partners to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor and report on departmental operations, including budget, staffing, and quality metrics

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Physcial Therapy Assistant (PTA), Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer service
