Photo Producer
This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, California.
Summary This role supports the production of high-visibility photography for on-product experiences across major digital applications. The Photo Producer will oversee the full lifecycle of photo and motion productions-from concept development and shoot execution to post-production and delivery-while collaborating closely with creative leadership and cross-functional partners. This role ensures creative vision is executed efficiently while maintaining production quality, timelines, and budgets.
Our Ideal Candidate
8+ years of experience in photo production within creative, editorial, or commercial environments
Passion for photography as a medium with a strong foundation in visual storytelling and creative production
Proficient in production planning, budget management, and contract negotiation, with strong project and time management skills
Familiar with global photography agencies, photographers, and licensing practices across editorial, commercial, and unit photography
Skilled in collaborating with art directors, creative teams, production vendors, and cross-functional partners
Able to work independently and manage multiple productions simultaneously
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrates an organized and systematic approach to documentation, file management, and production archiving
Job Description In this role, you will oversee photography and motion productions that support on-product visual experiences.
You’ll partner with producers, art directors, and creative teams to manage productions from project brief through shoot capture and post-production. This includes coordinating production timelines, negotiating contracts and fees with photographers and their representatives, managing budgets, and ensuring creative concepts are executed effectively.
You will also coordinate cross-functional workflows, maintain production documentation and archives, and help guide production strategies that translate creative vision into efficient, cost-effective execution, supporting the team's overall creative and operational success.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Photography, Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in creative production, photography production, media production, or visual content development
Experience producing photo and motion shoots for editorial, commercial, or product-based creative environments preferred
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work with 3 days per week on-site.
The pay for this W-2 position is $89.00 per hour.
This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and/or 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
