At Amazon Payment Products, we manage a diverse portfolio — from consumer credit cards like Prime Visa and Amazon Store Card to rewards programs and installment partnerships. You have a deep understanding of design principles, and keen attention to detail. You are an organized self‑starter who can deal with ambiguity and deliver independently. You are an excellent cross‑functional collaborator and are comfortable presenting and defending your ideas to other designers, marketers, product managers, engineers, and leaders.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across design (visual and user experience), marketing, and product teams to make our experiences easier to understand and more delightful. You’ll transform customer insights into compelling visual narratives, using data to guide your creative decisions. Your work will directly impact how millions of customers experience Amazon’s financial products.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Knowledge of branding guidelines and corporate identity, visual design, print and digital layout design, with experience in designing for both mobile and desktop applications
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)
Experience in visual design expertise with ability to produce fresh, simple, elegant and exceedingly usable layouts and interactions and iconography
Experience with Figma and the Adobe CS suite: XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere and After Effects
Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
Experience managing communication with geographically distributed teams
Experience working within the channel‑ and partner community across multiple sales segments
Experience developing cross‑functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interactive design, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with e‑commerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns
Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices
Experience with motion design and video editing is a bonus
Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user‑centered design process
Fintech or banking design experience
Marketing design experience
