Key Responsibilities Assist Production Art Director plan, shoot, and edit professional-grade photographs for a variety of purposes (e.g., commercial, editorial, events, portraits, and product photography, etc.)
Collaborate with Creative Director and Art Directors to understand project goals and deliver visually impactful results.
Set up and manage lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment for optimal image quality.
Direct subjects and scenes to capture the desired mood, composition, and storytelling elements.
Edit and retouch images using professional software while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Lead and supervise the Photo Retoucher, providing clear guidance on editing standards, style, and deadlines
Review, approve, and provide feedback on retouched images to ensure top-tier quality and consistency
Organize, archive, and maintain digital asset libraries
Establish and maintain retouching workflows, presets, and brand guidelines
Manage project timelines from shoot through post-production delivery
Stay current with photography trends, techniques, and industry-standard tools
Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience as a Photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility and creativity
Experience in the beauty industry, particularly with beauty product photography
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and post-production workflows
Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., generative fill, image enhancement, background replacement) into workflows
Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience managing or mentoring a Retoucher or post-production team member
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
